Make It a Friend Thing

At In Affordable Housing, some of our best workshops happen when people show up together. One person asks the question everyone else was thinking. Somebody pulls out a calculator. Somebody else starts browsing listings on their tablet before we even get to that part. It turns into a whole thing — and honestly, that's when the magic happens.

Because buying a home can feel heavy when you're sitting with it alone. But when your friend is right next to you learning the same stuff — credit tips, budgeting strategies, down payment assistance options — suddenly it feels doable. It feels like a plan.

And then you're texting each other open house photos on a Saturday morning instead of just scrolling past them.

We've spent over 30 years helping families across Central Arkansas make homeownership real. More than $125 million in housing investment. Thousands of people who went from "maybe someday" to moving day. A lot of them walked through our door with a friend.

Join us. You'll leave knowing more than you came in with — and you won't have to figure it out alone.
