In Affordable Housing, Inc. (IAH) is pleased to announce a $5,000 contribution from Bank OZK in support of IAH's homebuyer education and affordable housing programs serving families across Central Arkansas.
IAH, a HUD-certified nonprofit founded in 1994, has directed more than $125 million in housing investment across a 12-county service area — connecting low- and moderate-income families with the education, counseling, and financial resources they need to achieve stable, sustainable homeownership. IAH Founder and CEO Roma Isom says partnerships like this one are at the heart of what makes that work possible. "Bank OZK's investment doesn't just fund our programs — it signals to families in our community that they have institutions in their corner. Together, we're making homeownership less of adream and more of a plan."
Tammie Marceleno, Community Development Manager at Bank OZK, echoed that commitment. "IAH meets families where they are, walks them through the homebuying process, and helps them cross the finish line ready to succeed. Bank OZK is proud to support that mission."
Funds will support IAH's homebuyer education programming, which equips prospective buyers with the financial literacy, credit counseling, and one-on-one guidance they need to qualify for and sustain homeownership. IAH's curriculum is ADFA-approved, USDA-accepted, and HUD-supported.
IAH invites other financial institutions to explore what a partnership can mean for their organization. Supporting IAH's work offers measurable CRA and regulatory value, a direct pipeline of mortgage-ready, counseling-certified borrowers, and meaningful visibility in communities across Central Arkansas. Banks and lenders interested in learning more are encouraged to contact Roma at 501-920-2156.
