AH Homebuyer Education (HBE) Class What You’ll Learn: Taught and facilitated by HUD-certified staff and trusted industry partners, our step-by-step course covers: How to qualify for the best mortgage rates Understanding credit scores and how to improve them Types of loans and how to choose the right one The full homebuying process from start to finish Certificate of Completion: Upon finishing the class, you’ll receive a Homebuyer Education Certificate, valid for one year, which many lenders require to access certain loans or assistance programs. Plus Access to IAH online Homebuying Guide Online option available Cost Costs start at $75 per individual or $125 for a couple. Additional program options are available, including comprehensive credit counseling for individuals and couples.
